Our Design Process
-
I
Discovery Call
Every project begins with a brief Discovery Call. During this 15 minute call, we discuss the overall scope of your project and determine whether we are the right fit for your needs. If we both agree to move forward, we’ll arrange for an onsite consultation.
-
II
Onsite Consultation
The initial consultation allows our team to get to know you and your project in more depth. During this 90-minute, in-home meeting, we will be walking through your space, taking pictures and notes and discussing preliminary ideas and inspiration. We will discuss our process in detail, answer any questions and determine a scope of work for your project. After the consultation we will deliver a consultation report and a proposal for working together, along with a contract for your review.
-
III
Design Concept & Plan
Once the contract has been signed we kick off the project and move into the design phase. During this two part phase we will create a design plan based on what we have discussed at the consultation and present it to you for review and revision, bearing in mind the best use of your investment. The design plan is broken into two phases, a concept phase and final design phase. The final design plan typically takes around 10 weeks to develop, and we’ll keep you updated as we move through the process.
-
IV
Implementation
After our Design Presentation, we will make any revisions and reselections necessary based on your comments. Once we have received your approval on all product selections, we will prepare a furnishing proposal and collect payment for all products. We will place orders, handle the fulfillment logistics, and promptly take care of any issues that may arise. During this phase, we will also coordinate directly with all tradespeople and oversee any renovation, new build, or custom-build work.
-
V
Style & Reveal
As products, furniture, and fixtures begin to arrive, we’ll arrange for and inspect each delivery. We’ll then coordinate installation once the majority of the pieces have arrived. Once installation is complete and all tradespeople have fulfilled their roles, we’ll begin the styling process. Furniture, accessories, and decor will be placed according to our design plan and prepared for the final reveal.
-
VI
Care & Photos
We will reveal your completed project and tour the space with you to address any changes or questions. Shortly after, we’ll arrange for a professional photographer to capture the project for our portfolio. We take great pride in our work and look forward to showcasing your spaces in our marketing.
